Busy B Ranch Wildlife Park, LLC — Attraction in Nesbitt

My family and I visited Jefferson for a birthday weekend and stumbled upon Busy B Ranch Wildlife Park, a drive-thru safari, while shopping. On a whim, I purchased tickets online, adding three extra animal encounters. Later, I noticed on their Facebook page that a special event called Zoo Boo—featuring some of the same encounters—had been rescheduled to the evening of our visit due to weather. I reached out via Facebook Messenger and soon spoke with the owner, who was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to switch our tickets to the Zoo Boo event.

Our experience at Busy B Ranch exceeded all expectations. The staff and owners demonstrated genuine kindness, professionalism, and a heartfelt dedication to both their animals and their community. This was by far the most pleasant experience I've had at one of these drive through zoos, and I have been through several different ones—most of which had more varied and more exotic wildlife. We reserved their large pavilion for a children's birthday party. There were many picnic tables underneath and a nearby charcoal grill. Close to the pavilion were walking paths through individual pens housing familiar and unfamiliar, domestic and exotic small animals. This was a unique feature that other, more motor-focused safaris neglect. Our visit was in October, so we enjoyed their display of pumpkins and fall decor photo vignettes. If you have a group, I strongly recommend reserving the wagon tour. The wagon, which is pulled by their staff at 5mph in a pickup, is a large canopied trailer with long, back-to-back benches facing opposite sides of the road and surrounded by a safety fence. We had a super fun time here for my son’s sixth birthday! The owners are very friendly as well as the animals. The animals immediately came up to our cars and some of them did not want to leave 😆 I purchased some beach buckets & shovels from Walmart before we went since the paper bags tear easily. They both came in Handy. We also packed a lunch in a cooler. It was perfect for when the children got hot and a little fatigue after a while. There were a few other things I didn’t post pictures of, but it is well worth the drive and admission. It was a very fun experience. Highly recommend taking your children! Lastly, you car will get dirty inside and out so I don’t recommend washing and vacuuming it until after.
