The Incline Flume Trail is an epic trail on the East side of Lake Tahoe to hike or mountain bike. The trail cuts along the side of the mountains and offers epic views of the Lake Tahoe region. The trail is about 11 miles one was all the way to Marlette Lake and of course 11 miles back, but only about 1,500 feet of total elevation gain from the trailhead on Mt. Rose Highway to Marlette Lake and back. The trail cuts through National Forest, a ski resort, and a Nevada State Park. The views are breathtaking and the trail is super unique as it cuts along the cliffside of the mountain range. Highly recommend to any mountain bikers as this is a fantastic trail to ride...
