The Incline Flume Trail is an epic trail on the East side of Lake Tahoe to hike or mountain bike. The trail cuts along the side of the mountains and offers epic views of the Lake Tahoe region. The trail is about 11 miles one was all the way to Marlette Lake and of course 11 miles back, but only about 1,500 feet of total elevation gain from the trailhead on Mt. Rose Highway to Marlette Lake and back. The trail cuts through National Forest, a ski resort, and a Nevada State Park. The views are breathtaking and the trail is super unique as it cuts along the cliffside of the mountain range. Highly recommend to any mountain bikers as this is a fantastic trail to ride in Lake Tahoe.

Trail is kinda sandy and bikers are on it and its pretty flat so a bit boring. Would be cool to bike on though. Theres some big rocks to climb on along the way which is cool. I walked for 3 miles and never reached a peak so that was a little anti climactic. Theres also limited parking and most of the spots are across the street which has no crosswalk. Good views.

Nice trail that is well marked. Some beautiful views along the way. Pretty easy grade, not much ups and downs. I apparently did step into some poison ivy because I got a rash around both my ankles, probably did that when stepping aside to let bikers through. Nothing a bit of hydrocortisone can't relieve. 😁

Great views. Four of us hiked from parking with dog for an hour out and an hour back. About 5 miles total taking our time and stopping for breathtaking photos of Lake Tahoe. Great weather it was 66 degrees outside. Level beginner trail with a total altitude incline of 77 feet. Can be more intermediate further out. Amazing views of ravine and surrounding mountains and streams along the...
