Most fascinating museum I’ve ever encountered. Definitely was the highlight of our trip out west. I’ve never seen anything like this place- everything has been untouched since the 1980s. Keith, the lead volunteer/McGill historian, is now one of my favorite people ever. McGill and this museum are a must!

Thanks to Keith Gibson who hosted us, we had a very nice visit at this venue today:) He explained the history of the pharmacy as well as the history of the city of McGill I recommend anyone who may be passing thru to stop in for a visit to this museum Laurence & Luiza

What an amazing find! Keith, the current curator, is a living encyclopedia of knowledge regarding the drugstore. I am in my 60’s and vividly remember several of the products in the store. If you are in the area, you will regret not stopping.

Last week I took my three kids & spouses to see where I spent the first ten years of my life. The drug store visit was the highlight of the trip. We walked in & a man walked up to us. "You're Ivin Munson. I'm Keith Gibson." I hadn't seen Keith since 1945, when we were running around together. The next hour was filled with a full tour of the drug store & much remissness. I'm now 90 years old & to relive those past years was the best part of the trip, not only for me but also my kids. The old drug store is a must see, for anyone passing through McGill. When the owner died, around 1978, the place was locked up & is now a flash in the past. Everything is just as it was back then, & Keith is a bundle of knowledge.. Don't miss...

McGill drug store is a little gem in a small town with not much else going on. It is like someone walked out locked the doors and never came back. A lot of the original supplies and the drugstore were just left on the shelves very interesting to see some of the items that I grew up seeing that you no longer get to see. I guess because of covid-19 it's by appointment only so a gentleman at another museum made the reservations for us. If you're in this area...

Super cute stop that I'm glad we made! We were staying in Ely on our way to Utah and decided to stop in and see what this place was all about. The volunteer working that day was friendly and knowledgeable. You can open up drawers and peek behind the pharmacy counter. It's truly frozen in time and a fun way to transport yourself back to a different Era. This place makes you wish CVS and Walgreens went extinct so that mom and pop pharmacies could still...
