We were planning to have a good time. There's only one other business thats ever behaved so unprofessional like this. I walked in the front door with my son. I had my service dog with me and documentation. The woman at the counter first started by immediately saying you can't have animals in here. Before I even got to say anything. I literally just said hi. Then, she started asking me a million questions. That really isn't any of her business. If she would have been friendly. I would have willingly probably told her. But she was nasty she went out of her way to be nasty. She then says well what kind of service animal is he ? So then I tell her. Then she says, well, what does he do. I felt interrogated and so discriminated against . She said well I need to know because what if there's people in here with allergies to a dog.? Seriously ,What does one have to do with the other? That's not why you need to know.So basically. Third degree never got to take my son roller skating. She apparently doesn't know by not allowing us in because of her control issues, that she violated my rights. All I wanted to do is take my son roller skating. That's it! It's really sad when a business behaves like this. Like I said only one other time. As a matter of fact we're at sky zone right now. That's where we decided to come. One of the employees there was fussing over how adorable the dog was and asked me where I got my dogs carrying pouch. After I told her she said oh that's perfect. I said well it makes it easier to deal with public when he's in here. She said I don't know anyone that would even be bothered by that. I said oh you'd be surprised! Then I told her about what just happened. People were actually shocked that this woman behaved like this and said that I should report the place. I think I'll do that. Anyways ,God forbid you come here with a service animal. Not an emotional support animal, a SERVICE ANIMAL! It doesn't matter how much documentation you have. You have to answer her questions or you're...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy daughter and her friends wanted to roller skate and found this establishment. The website advertised a tween/teen/young adult skate so my wife and I gathered everyone up and drove to the rink. The website also mentioned that a parent or adult must be present with the kids which wasn't an issue, we planned on watching the kids skate anyway. I was quite surprised, however, when I was told that the adults were being charged the full admission price especially since it was an establishment rule that they were required to be there. In other similar situations, the adults were charged a nominal fee for entry, if anything. When I asked the cashier she started ranting about how "my governor" required them to count everyone. I was a bit taken about as I am neither a region or a state and was unaware that I had my own governor. When I tried to explain that there were multiple ways to "count" people without charging admission I was rudely told to pay or get out. The kids got their skates and headed out to the floor. Within a song or two, the DJ announced the house rules and it became a nice game throughout the evening for my wife and I to count the number of times no one actually enforced said rules. There were 8 hoodies with their hoods up, 4 people with earbuds/headphones in, and 12 people with hats on the skating floor. We were also surprised at the number of adults skating during a tween/teen skate. Adjusting for the college kids due to the proximity of RMU, there were at least a dozen adults on the floor. Once the kids were done skating, they returned their skates to the counter and the counter attendant immediately turned around and handed a pair of the skates to another child at the counter. No sanitization process, no cleaning, nothing. Straight from one child's foot to another. The only positive that I can say is that the rink attendants (the actual employees skating on the floor) were very good at their jobs and pretty attentive to more...

Everyone there was extremely helpful and the families that attended had so much fun! The kids and the adults were dancing on their way out the door! The kids all had HUGE smiles! The adults HAD EVEN BIGGER SMILES! Everybody was saying how it brought back so many wonderful childhood memories! (It always does!) If you have never had a skate party, they have public birthday parties held during sessions that are open to the public or you can rent the rink for a private event that's closed to the public. I strongly suggest the private parties with all your friends and family members! You won't regret it and it's true that the time just flies when you're having fun! Give them a call or stop in and let them know what you need! They're all so helpful! And as always...ENJOY!!! ;)
Neville Roller Drove is still one of the best places around! The floor was just redone, there have been so many upgrades from the interior to the party room, to the pro shop, to the skate room and to the refreshment room! It's a great place to go if you're looking for something fun to do with the family or if you're an adult (depending on the day & time. The hours of operation & cost is on their website as well as the ages that are welcomed during those times. The Park Family are very welcoming, friendly & helpful people that are the owners/operators of the rink and they have an inviting & helpful staff there, to assist you and answer any questions. I strongly suggest giving it a try because it can become a great way to release tension, hear great music, meet new people, see old friends and just have fun for a few hours by shutting everything out, lacing up a pair of skates & as...
