I will start with what I don’t like: I don’t like the cancellation policy. Not getting a return on a $40 deposit does stink in my opinion. And I cancelled with plenty of time for someone to easily book such a nice spot on the water. I emailed to ask about it and got no response, but fine. Now, I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of this campground on little on Many, La. Staff was polite, police presence, clean, so affordable, and amenities located down the road such as a hotel and golf. Town isn’t far from you at all. We had to book a last minute cancellation spot in B 09, while the spot was horribly caked with mud from run off, we were able to clean it and still had a pretty view of down the hill and some of the lake. It’s spread out from the camp to the pier so a golf cart is handy for sure. Overall, we plan to come back!

I dont give 5 stars often, but, this place, along with its staff team, definitely deserve it. Every staff member was always so cheerful and nice, and willing to help any way possible. I had the best 2 weeks of my life right here. Fishing off the pier was great, swimming area was awsome and had volleyball net set up and even a small play area for little ones. Me and the family had our tents and coolers, we stuck it out through a storm, and although I was on crutches, I still absolutely wouldn't change a single thing. LOVE THIS PLACE.

This is a beautiful resort, which we've stayed at three times. This particular trip, we decided to stay in a room with a kitchen; I don't recommend this. The a/c condensation unit is IN the bedroom, in a louvered door closet. You can imagine how loud it is when it turns on. The smoke detector in the kitchen is above the stove; we set it off toasting bread in the toaster. Our room had an issue with the water temperature in the shower - it was either scalding hot or very cold - without adjusting it, while showering. The rooms with kitchens are right across one of their internal roads from the golf course, which would be great if you were there to only play golf. However, this building consists only of rooms; it isn't even near the main hotel where the restaurant, bar, pool, etc., are. There is a path that leads to the main hotel, but it is partially through a wooded area where there are signs that state to watch for poisonous snakes. Parking is terrible for the kitchen-type rooms. There is much needed upkeep for this building, inside; wallpaper is peeling in the hall, the carpet doesn't reach the walls in some places. However, the room is very large, as it has a kitchen and living room and the...

Ha e to go with 4 stars. Mainly cause they got rid of the tent sites and built cabins. They have a big rv site. Its good place to bring the family for get away a d they have a big beach the kids and family can enjoy. Also has a big play ground on the beach area for thise little ones that dont stay still lol. Has several boat launches and a long peir thats covered u can set on and watch the sun set or just set back and relax as u fish. The park is normaly known for its bass tournments. Like ESPN and there big one in may called the big bass splash. No doubt you will really fall in love with this site. But if you are a tent camper like me and my family you will be disapointed. Thats the only down fall. Its located only a few miles south of Toledo town which has a grocery store. A gass station a d a tackle and bait store. Also has big ice machine in parking lot. Theres an awsome seafood joint called fishermans galley that is 100% amazing. Friday and saturday nights starting at 5pm they have an all you can eat seafood buffet. There is 2 mexican resturants. But i do not recomend the pepes resturant. Family and i had a bad experiance there. Poor wait staff and bugs every where. We just got up...

We stayed in the RV park and had some people in cabins for Thanksgiving holiday. The park was clean and seemed maintained on the RV park side. Both cabins appeared to be clean at first glance but when cleaning up spilled water/liquid off the kitchen floor, the paper towel was VERY brown. Everyone kept their shoes on for their entire stay. During a world wide pandemic, you would think they would step up their cleaning policies. One of the cabins was well stocked with nicer kitchen items and furniture. The other cabin we had rented had much older furniture with holes in the couch and very cheap dishes/utensils (as if it were stocked from dollar tree or goodwill). The office staff was VERY rude every time we had contact with them including check-in, purchasing ice, asking general questions, and updating billing info. Altogether our group spent well over $1000 for a few days with them but did not feel that our business was appreciated whatsoever. We will likely not be...
