E.S.T./C.S.T. Time Zone Sign — Attraction in New Carlisle

Having heard of the eastern/central time zone line for years, I researched it when I knew I was getting close. I found a wonderful article about it on evendo (E.S.T./C.S.T. Time Zone Sign: A Unique Historical Landmark).

It did not disappoint! The sign was exactly where Google maps said it would be and my GPS watch updated soon after passing it (with prompting to check the time)! My life was changed. I felt younger. And as John said in his review, I was “able to relive my most recent moments with the knowledge I had gained from already having lived them.”

I am a much better man because of it! I chose to spend half of that new time on this review which will increase my status as a local guide.

I highly recommend visiting this sign if you happen to be passing through New Carlisle, IN on I-90!

The sign is useful and educational as well as serves an important purpose. Unfortunately, the self guided walking tour wasn't nearly as exciting a I had hoped. I found it didn't answer my questions, was too lengthy and way overpriced.
