The Preserve at Crooked Run — Attraction in New Castle

We just hosted a wedding of about 100 people at the Preserve, and it was a fantastic experience for us. The space perfectly accommodated our vision of a 3-day experience laden with outdoor activities like a welcome barbecue, an afternoon pool party in the pool pavilion (infinity pool and water slide), capture the flag, disc golf, hiking/walking on a few trails, clay shooting course, fly fishing, evening fires, and of course a beautiful rehearsal dinner and wedding with the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We also had around 40 people stay onsite with full lodging accommodations and access to a large kitchen to prepare food for them. The event staff were a pleasure to work with through the planning phase as they were extremely responsive and flexible, and the weekend itself ran smoothly for the same reasons. We also ended up executing a rain plan on short notice and it was a seamless transition in large part due to the staff at The Preserve. I used The Preserve at Crooked Run for an Employee Celebration day this past weekend and I can't say enough great things about it. The venue is absolutely fantastic! The Grand Lodge is amazing with the woodwork detailed decor and breathtaking views. The staff was amazing starting with Tommy who gave us a tour so that we could make an informed decision on where to hold our event. After we chose them, Tommy graciously answered all of my many questions. The staff that was there the day of the event was equally as helpful. I have had the privilege to be at this venue a number of times, and one thing is for sure....the views never get old. It is obvious that Joe and his team put hard work into making this venue the one to be at for any event. It is worth the money, it is worth the trip. The staff wants to make sure that every big thing, and even every little thing are taken care of down to the tiniest detail. You won’t regret booking your event here. The staff is proud of this place, and it is will only take you a split second to figure out why once you pull onto The Preserve at Crooked Run. Great job...
