Outlet Beach — Attraction in New Gloucester

First of all, not only do the kids and I love this spot because it is beautiful, well kept, and not far from Portland but, the owners and staff are Amazing! After spending the day swimming and enjoying their delicious ice cream we headed back home to Portland. It wasn’t until we stepped in the door that my daughter said, “ Uh oh I forgot my phone.” I called and when I had asked about anyone finding a phone they said, “ we will call you back.” Within minutes I was called back and they had found her phone . I was so relieved. When I got back, after closing and a ridiculous amount of traffic they were still there and handed the phone over. I tried to give some cash for whomever turned in the phone. They said, “ We can’t accept that. That’s what we do here!” Such great people. I highly recommend this place for everyone! They go above and beyond. It's a cute little rustic beach that charges too much for entrance. $6/adults, $4/3-17yo and $5/seniors. The beach was congested and was a very small for the amount of people that were there. There's not much official parking, so side of the road mostly. The lake is beautiful and has many other areas to swim, so be mindful of what you're looking for...

Beautiful spot, beach was clean and the picnic areas were too. The lake was clear and clean, free of lake weed and pests. I would charge less for entrance fee as their snack bar and tube rental exists but that's just me. I'll definitely be going back for...
