We stopped here at the recommendation of a few locals, and we had such a great time! If you are looking for something quick and interesting to check out on your drives or a rainy day, the cultural center is a great place to go. From train and tractor models, to artwork from local students, to assortments of collections by other artists, it's a great place to spend as little as half an hour or longer depending on how much time you want to spend there. There is also a fun "Where's Waldo" -esque display where kids (or fun loving adults) can try their hand at finding hidden characters. The building is also wheelchair accessible, which is awesome considering how old the building is! A fun touch of culture from Northeast Iowa. The hours are slim, as often happens with a niche cultural center in a small town. The staff was friendly and curious about my group. The exhibits were fun and well-presented, including a thorough set of miniatures dedicated to the Barnum & Bailey circus (which frequently visited nearby), doll-sized houses, a collection of model farm equipment, wooden model tractors, a sizable model train exhibit, and a dedicated exhibit on keys of various types and ages.
