Connecticut Valley Winery Llc — Attraction in New Hartford

Drove all the way out there for a wine tasting based on the fact that both the passport & the website said they were opened until 5pm and then when we got there @ 4:45pm they said they were closed & their last tasting was at 4:30pm. It was a long drive and the conflicting times were not helpful. They simply told us to come back the next day. Definitely not good costumer service especially after the super long drive to visit this vineyard. We will not be returning again. We went to this winery for the first time today. Although we technically came after the last wine tasting, they were gracious enough to serve us. The staff was friendly, engaging, and answered all of our questions. And the best part of all, their wines were absolutely delicious. We visited 3 other wineries in the area today and this was our favorite by far. I've never experienced a tasting where I truly enjoyed every single wine on the menu. My favorite Connecticut winery. Family owned, with true passion to their craft. Along wine grape varieties they also have very nice fruit wines. Nice wrap around deck to sit and enjoy a bottle or flight of wine.
