Nice place for a quick walk. About 1 mile walk from the parking area on Rt 202 to the parking area at the end of Torrington Ave in Collinsville. About half way is the dam with an awesome view of the reservoir and spillway.
Clean, beautiful sunset views and wildlife. I've seen ducks, geese, hawks, eagles, rabbits, bear and once I even spotted a young moose checking out the water.
The walkway is a well paved dam access road that is closed to general vehicle traffic. They keep the roadway maintained and cleared - even in the winter.
