Hibernia Park — Attraction in New Lenox

This is a great local park! There are swings, 3 slides and various other jungle gym type things for the kids.

The splash pad is here as well, though I havent been there yet.

Important to note that there is a pond right here as well. I've chased my toddler many a time. But you can rent boats and take them out on the pond, which is pretty awesome.

The splash pad is simple but great for younger kids. The water is really cold which means kids will enjoy it more than parents and hotter days are better. The pond is great for fishing and has a couple of docks to use. There are two portable toilets available. There also were a few paddle boats for rent.
