Nice sized beach, came in September a little windy with onshore breeze. Nice assortment of bbq’s, picnic tables, and slides for kids. Would recommend checking Cyanobacteria warnings in advance as well as the wind speed and direction. If it’s coming from the North avoid the beach.

Gorgeous rarely crowded local beach. Sure, on a busy summer day it’ll be packed. But the rest of the year it’s pretty empty to bring your kids. Dogs are not allowed and you will be fined if you get caught. Other than that, it’s a perfect hidden gem!

Great Place to come and swim and just relax and work on your Tan. Kayaks and Paddle Boards are Free to RESIDENTS or GUESTS of New London. You must have a New London resident Beach sticker or guest pass to park, or else you will be fined. There are shady and sunny spots and plenty of sand to build that sandcastle. Water is clean and pure. Lifeguards on duty during the season. No Pets...
