Zweber Farms, LLC — Attraction in New Market Township

I have not been a regular frequent customer but have been a customer for a couple years. Working with Emily has always been a good experience. I have recently purchased the highest priced product in the area and since quality was there it was worth it. My last purchase I grabbed a package of beef sticks assuming quality would be great as in organic and no bad ingredients after leaving I was disappointed to read the ingredients to find all the nitrites corn syrup etc that I would not think a organic store would have. Their fB page says OPEN I stopped by during the hours of business no one to be found called both phone numbers and no answer. I then messaged to inquire about a product and just for conversation mentioned I had stopped by. Lisa’s response was you need to make an appointment(does not say this on fB page or front door sign) and they have better things to do than stand around in store. Pretty rude. I then had asked purchasing milk and the cost and told her I would do my research on cost and minimum required purchase and her response was we don’t need milk customers anyway which I thought was also rude. With. Delay of at least 4 days or never getting back to me unless after days I would check back for a response. I was in store having a conversation with her farmer son about the soil and what they find when they test it. She yells over her shoulder it’s organic….. thanks I know and wasn’t questioning it. I live in the area and know that copper contends is good for the cows he kindly replied and the soil does need copper added as they do which is a plus to their quality. I may have just gotten the bad days but for the prices the quality and details to what is in all the products they sell. Do your research and hopefully Lisa greats you with peace and happiness . We stopped by yesterday on May 21st, 2018 to purchase some chicken. Lisa was extremely polite, kind and helpful. We met her granddaughter who just learned to ride her barbie bike without training wheels, spent some time petting the family dog and viewed a smal portion of the family farm. Very warm and inviting farm. Prices were excellent and we are looking forward to eating the chicken which looks great. Planning to go back later this summer for beef and more chicken. Wonderful location, terrific food and modest prices and kind people....

Lisa and Tim are Fantastic! I am a strong believer in voting w/ my money! In these crazy times where the minority are trying to take my meat, I’m not having it, life eats life!
