100 percent kill rate for players. No bonuses, or very rare. THE WORST CASINO IN NEW MEXICO. They join the NO PLAY LIST, AND GAMBLERS SHOULD HIGHLY AVOID. Ultra Tight Casino List, BASED ON LOW OR NO BONUS PAYOUTS, NO JACKPOTS, AND TIGHT SLOTS. This is after several visits: 1. BLACK MESA CASINO (Algodones, NM) 2. ROSEBUD CASINO (Rosebud, SD) 3. CACTUS PETE'S (Jackpot, NV) 4. BUFFALO BILL'S (Primm, NV) 5. KANSAS CITY STAR (Mulvane, KS) 6. TONKAWA HOTEL AND CASINO (Tonkawa, OK) 7. WINSTAR WORLD CASINO (Thackerville, OK) 8. ALAMO CASINO (Imlay, NV) 9. PEPPERMILL CASINO (West Wendover, NV) 10. MAZATZAL CASINO (Payson, AZ) 11. SKY CITY CASINO (Acoma, NM) Used to be good, with generous payouts. But they tightened the Slots and took away Table Games that give players an edge. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

My Hubby and I stayed here at their RV park for 2 days. It's $20 a night for electric and they have a dump and water on site. Dirt parking area. They also allow you to use the showers in the truck stop that's part of the Casino. The staff here are so nice and friendly. It's a smaller Casino with no hotel and not many frills. There's no alcohol at this Casino, which I understand. They have a Cafe and offer freee drinks. I didn't see many people gambling. We are not gamblers but do enjoy parking at Casinos as we travel. Black Mesa is off the highway and only 30min from Albuquerque. It's safe and clean. For $20 we found it to be a great deal and will be back. Check out is at 12. It's first come first serve. There's plenty of boondock parking. They have security patrol. The Casino closes at 12am the store is open 24/7.

Needed a quick night stay during an RV trip through NM. The Black Mesa Casino store offered the lowest price on fuel around so asked about their RV park. $10 a night for no hook-ups and $20 full hookups the young gal said. We opted for the full, pulled on over to pick our spot, there were plenty since the casino is still closed due to Covid shutdowns. We found not one spot with full hookups. Went back to the store, let them know which spot we'd picked, asked about the full hookups and found these people had not a clue of what that meant. The location was just fine, it was quiet, a few more light's throughout the night then preferred but overall a good night. The price is a bit high for nothing other than gravel, many weeds (goat-heads), and only electric.

MARCH 11, 2018 Bypassed Black Mesa Casino at San Felipe. MARCH 8, 2018 Took my Older Sister to Black Mesa Casino...iT IS CLOSER to her home. FOR HER SAKE, I am no longer taking her there. It was bad. She was disappointed as I was. We waited to eat at the Snack Shop, It was closed as was the Kitchen on the other end. Nothing to eat...She played about $60 and got the bonus once paid her $5. Horrible.. She wanted a coca-cola they only had Dr. Pepper. People were wondering around in disgust. Their point system sucks. There was a senior $10 free play. They did not give it to her, said she didn't have points. She plays there every Monday and other times with her husband. Took her to the players club, one lady told her one thing, her card didn't work took her back to the player's club, they asked her for an ID, she showed them her military ID...NOTHING...NO MORE...JUST NO MORE....I will travel further to Santa Ana or Cities of Gold or Santa Claran. NO MORE BLACK MESA CASINO until they change their act. STRIKE THREE THEY ARE OUT!!!!

March 6, 2018 Monday, I took my elderly sister to play. She likes to go and I take her. She has dementia, so I am very attentive. Her card would not work, and she went to the Player's Club, An employee watch the machine while I followed her. The staff is always great. Slot!!! plink, plink plink plink...nothing. I do believe the lock up the bonus playes or lock the last column of the machine. NOTHING!! i DECIDED TO TAKE HER HOME, she was loosing her money. She wanted to eat at the BLACK MESA KITCHEN...ugh, ugh, ugh....Pinto beans were hard, uncooked, tamales were ok, but come on ...in NM they should be great. I will go again cause she likes to go, but I will not eat at the kitchen, I will take her to the snack bar. December 2017 A BIGI UHG! NOT PAYING, RARELY DID, BUT NOW THE MACHINES. ARE TRICKY. !!! Snack bar, OK, food good staff friendly.TRICKY Games!! pluck, pluck, pluck, pluck, pluck, pluck, pluck, pluck pluck FINALLY BOUNUS GAMEs...WIN $1.51...DOWN $20 @25 CENTS a pluck, bonus win $1.51, nothing in between ..BORING, BORING, TIRING. SAD!!!!!!! games says 5 spins 35 wilds? bull you get 5 spins and if lucky 12 wilds with no wins. FRIENDLY STAFF, GOOD PARKING, FRIENDLY STAFF, NOT ENOUGH...

I've driven past a hundred times, even back when it was Casino Hollywood, but I finally stopped to check it out. It's small compared to Sandia Casino and Santa Ana Star, and lacks what I usually go to casinos for, which is the buffet. There's a kitchen to your right upon walking in, but everything they serve is spicy, so if you have a milder palate turn left past the player's club registration and walk all the way back down the red carpet to find a grill tucked into a corner by the auditorium. The Pueblo burger is very good; a round piece of frybread sliced in half and filled with a beef patty, lettuce, tomato, and diced onion. Condiments are on a counter a little behind and next to the grill, but looked to be the usual mayo, mustard, and ketchup. Husband got fish and chips, which weren't mind blowing but were good enough. I think they might mix their own tartar sauce but neither of us like tartar sauce in general.

Most of their slots look to be penny slots, and they also have video blackjack and video roulette. There's a smoke shop with cigars near the entrance, and a bar back by the grill. The slots are pretty good; you get $10 free play when you sign up for the player's card, and we quickly made enough money to cover dinner plus some. We also watched someone win nicely repeatedly on one of the slots near the grill while we were eating dinner.

I also noticed that it's really not all that far from Albuquerque; I believe it's the second exit after Highway 550, before the Cochiti Lake exit. If you're looking for a lot of glitz stick with Sandia or Santa Ana, but if you feel like a somewhat more cozy experience, Black Mesa is a good option.

Note: Valve has nothing to do with this casino. I saw nothing to do with Half-Life, Portal, or Steam. It's still a fun little...

Your recent changes has forced me to give one star and let me tell you why: The last time my husband and I visited, the place was practically empty. You did away with the buffet, which was a huge mistake. That was one of the main reasons why people traveled to your casino. Provide awesome food and your patrons stay to play. You recently did away with the grill in the back of the casino which was awesome too! Whoever is in charge of Food & Beverage (last I heard it was a company from Florida) doesn't know the first thing about attracting business to your casino and they certainly don't have a clue about catering to hungry New Mexicans. Remember, there's other casinos which are closer, Sandia and Santa Ana (both of them provide great restaurant options in their casinos). We won't be making the trip to a place that has lost so many great things. I don't mind losing my money but I at least want to have fun while doing it. Get rid of that dreadful new cafe, it's like being in a morgue and you can tell the employees aren't exactly thrilled with these new changes. We need to put New Mexicans back in charge and send them...
