Thought this whole experience was really cute. My partner took me on a little spooky season adventure here and we sifted for gems, visited the little general store for treats, navigated the Uber cute corn maze and spent an unexpected amount of time in the pumpkin junction, where they had the BEST assortment of little pumpkin, gourd, squash etc. babies. Amy was the MOST helpful and lovely woman and I learned a lot that day about different varietals (so much so that I ended up lost in a Google rabbit hole later about some of them) and came home with wayyyyy more pumpkin babies than I expected to decorate the house with. My only regret is letting my partner talk me out of a special “oddity” baby she brought to me (recognizing that I love little oddballs)…he would have been perfect in what ended up a large display in my house. But I’m secretly hoping he went back this week to get it for me lol - we tried on a weekday, but it was the wrong one, and they were closed le sigh. Anyway, would definitely go back…as a matter of fact, there might be a little family excursion with his family and I’ve been invited, so it might be this weekend! 🖤🎃👻 Highly recommend as a family fun trip or a little date night if you like autumn and spoopy season things and the staff...
Read moreMy daughter is in a wheelchair and I know that in locations like this one, not everything is going to be accessible to her. We couldn't do the maze because we just couldnt get through the deep holes through out the maze. Its unfortunate and she was upset but we managed to convince her to do the hay ride and pick out a pumpkin. That area also was a little bumpy but that was fun for her. Like I said, I understand that this is a farm setting and not everything will be accessible. However, what I can not let go of is that your table areas are not at all accessible. My daughter felt embarrassed that we had to carry her and her wheelchair to get to the table platforms. We walked around several seating areas to eat and none were accessible. Had we not had other parents willing to help us carry her and her chair, then we would have had to eat on our own instead of with her friends. I am requesting that atleast one of your table areas be accessible. A ramp should be added and a designated tables should be marked as handicap eating tables. I dont think another child or adult in a wheel hair should be left out of enjoying atleast a fun meal with their family when they attend...
Read moreThe Mesilla Valley Maze was a complete disappointment, the only thing this place does well is bleed the unsuspecting visitor of their hard earned cash. The place is completely overpriced with admission fees costing a family of four $44 just to get in. The admission is supposed to allow the visitor unlimited access to a lot of games and activities, but these turned out to be pretty anticlimactic. Seemed like just about all the attractions were comprised of recycled tractor tires stacked and/or half buried in different configurations. As for the corn maze, I’m not sure if there was an object to the maze, it felt more like cornfield with a bunch of interconnecting trails running through it. Though biggest let down to the whole Mesilla Valley Maze experience was their pumpkin patch. The hay ride to the patch was ok, I guess, but the patch had been so picked over that the only thing left were the deformed rotting rejects that nobody wanted. My kids left the pumpkin patch empty handed and yet the staff was still hauling unwary customers out there by the dozens. Save yourself a letdown and pass...
