San Estévan del Rey Mission Church is a Spanish mission church in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Gallup on the Acoma Pueblo Reservation in western New Mexico. Built between 1629 and 1641, it is one of the finest extant examples of hybrid Spanish Colonial and Puebloan architectural styles.

Photos don't do justice to have beautiful and vast the landscape is. at the end of your tour make sure you opt to climb down, it's definitely interesting.

Beautiful adobe church with a lot of history. Original wooden altar beautifully decorated, confessionary walls and church floor made of Adobe. I was told ,and not by the guide, that the reason why no pictures can be taken is because part of the bodies of the pueblo that built the church where in the walls...

We have been here 3 times and find something new each time .the oldest city in usa that hasn't changed much in the last 1700 years. Pottery from the locals is fantastic ! The mission is a time capsule a must see ! Great museum and artifacts...
