Old Mill Village — Attraction in New Milford Township

We've been going to Old Mill Village for years and always enjoy it! It's fun to walk around the grounds and visit the different buildings - I especially enjoy the spinning and weaving building and the dress shop.

The museum is well put together and full of interesting artifacts from years gone by. You can imagine the story behind each item, like the hand forged surgical knives that were used in the Civil War or the beautiful dress that was worn to a ball at the White House during the same era!

The different themed weekends mean there is always something new to see too, whether it is Vikings, the Civil War, or homesteading. They also have concessions and...

I took my 14yo son with me to see this loving history museum and meet some of the people who help keep places like this open.
