Made popular by a TV show, you never know what you will find at the Trunk. I see people walking down the isles with the strangest things imaginable. Nice combination of antiques, crafts, and new items. Unlike the nearby Stormville Flea Market, all of the vendors are mixed in together. Nice for visual variety but bad on your feet because what you want can literally be in the first aisle or the last. The food, other than the Doughnuts, simply ain't that good. It won't kill you, but it is pretty pricey and nothing special at all. Do not misunderstand me, the food is a strong OK. Free parking is abundant. I like that there is a nominal entrance fee. This helps to ensure that MOST attendees have come to buy something and not just take up space. My orange tent can be seen from every part of the field. Just look for the Clockman! Port a potties are basically at the 4 corners of the property. They are reasonably clean unless a patron got a case of the trots from the over priced, under flavored grub. Overall, a nice day out that I would recommend experiencing at least once or twice in your life.

I found out about this place by watching the television show, "Flea Market Flip". It is about 1.5 hours from my home. I decided to check it out since the show not only had contestants buy their items here but also had several episodes where they sold the final creations here as well. My thinking was "If the show speaks highly of it, it must be worth the trip!". I also purchase my ticket online, paying a higher fee for the early bird 7am entry figuring I would beat the crowd. I left my home at 5:15am looking forward to a day of discovering treasures I could not live without. What a waste of time! The field was three quarters empty. I have been to better garage sales and a good number of vendors were toys from the 1970's through 1990's as opposed to the real antique items I was searching for. What I thought would be an all-day event was completed in 90 minutes! I did find a few things worth purchasing but it was not worth getting up early and the cost of gas. This place is more hype that substance. No need to come back!

I LOVE this place. They have something for everyone and most of the vendors are super fun to chat with. There's jewelry, books, furniture, flowers, knicknacks, artwork, and more. I love the times when they have the live band, it really makes the whole thing even more fun! It is true that some Sundays are better than others, especially when the weather is poor. Parking is always available and free, which is nice. Entry is $3 a person. I would recommend bringing lots of cash since that's really the only way people accept payment, though there is an ATM near the entrance that only charges like a $4 fee. Most people will barter with you if you offer a fair counter. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone, it's so much fun and even if you don't buy anything it's a great Sunday morning activity.
