Lynn Deming Park — Attraction in New Milford

To the people who come and pay to use the park, we are happy to have you. Resident and non resident. Unfortunately, the daily passes are only sold at the Park and Rec. People who have passes do abuse them by trying to come with 2 or 3 loads of people in and out. That won’t be tolerated by the Park and Rec or Security. You will be asked to leave. We are fully aware of it. Try and bring in alcohol, you will be caught too. To the people who come from other areas or drive a distance to get here and ask more than once to come in because they drove far, seriously? Do your research. The Park and Rec will sell you a pass. $25 day pass and their not open on the weekends. I’m sure people know the policies but act like they don’t. It really is a tucked away slice of paradise. A beautiful white soft sandy beach, with a playground just off the beach, trails, a place for boat access to the lake and boat storage. My family and I have had numerous days of fun. My oldest daughter even had swimming classes there.

There is a grassy part in the middle for picnicking grilling just good summer fun. It's private during the summer starting after Memorial and ending in Labor day (there is a fee for locals and out of towners ). However the rest of the year its FREE. Lynn Deming is a nice little day getaway for locals and visitors alike. A park pass is required to enter. The park is usually open from Memorial Day to Labor Day between sunrise and sunset. It has a nice little beach area with clean water and ample parking. Lifeguards are usually on duty during the peak hours of the day. There is a pavilion with benches and restrooms near by.
