Labyrinth to walk outdoors. It's not a maze-- it's a one way path from outside to inside and then you follow it the same way to get back out, as a spiritual practice. It's not on particularly level ground and the path is quite narrow, but that isn't uncommon for a well-trod labyrinth. This one had a nice bench in the center with stones folks had written wishes, dedications, and blessings on. There's also a mailbox with notebooks inside to write notes about your experience on. It's well maintained. There are other benches and chairs near by, and the area is natural with lots of milkweed, apple trees, and butterfly attracting plants. What there isn't is parking-- not for bikes, not for mopeds, not for cars. You kinda do what you can on the side of the road. In the center is a collection of rocks left by visitors. Find a nice rock on the beach, then come here and leave it in the center. Write your favorite quote, or paint something on the rock.
It's almost a Buddhist act to walk the path, knowing you could just walk straight to the center, but you won't. I was so happy we stopped here and walked the "maze." If you want a quiet spot to each a picnic lunch, this is the place!
Note: no wheelchair access, or parking lot. Street...
