I went there expecting some kind of play ground for dogs but it’s pretty much like my backyard. The plastic kiddy pool they have was mud water and the drinking areas were dirty and I definitely wouldn’t drink from there why should my dog. There is shaded spots and seating I hope they would try to get some more fun stuff for dogs.people do bring unvaccinated dogs there and if your not aware they could get sick

Like this park a lot. There are a lot of dirt areas though which can make it messy. There are also bathrooms for humans (not even a port o potty). So if you’re staying for more than a quick visit that might be an inconvenience. I haven’t had any issues with other ppl or their dogs. All have been friendly so far in the 2 weeks and I’ve been visiting almost every day.

Just reopened on the 8th today is the 11th and with new grass less dirt. However, everyone always leaves as soon as I get there. Apparently because nobody ever picks up their dogs poop, I have picked up the poop rude dog owners are ruining it yet again.

Not impressed and not too happy with some of the dog owners that were there today. There is two sides for the dog park. One for big dogs and the other for small dogs. The small dog park area is the one that is In front. And the big dog area is more to the side and toward the back of the dog park. Had to explain this cause anyone that is thinking of taking there big dog should be aware! The small dogs that seem to always be there from what I was told by others owners in the big dog area that they are always there and very aggressive. My dogs are big and Gental. But as I was trying to get them into the park a pack of small dogs was antagonizing my two big dog and the owners did nothing about but stare at me struggling with 2 big dogs. It says in the rule no aggressive dogs. But apparently that doesn’t apply to small dogs. I just want to give a heads up to anyone that might think of taking a big dog or even a small one to the park with some aggressive dogs that hang out there every day. I will not be...

Great place to bring your dog for beach access and swimming. You can bring beach chairs and hang out but It's a bit of a walk to get to the beach. Bring water for your pooch! Also...salt water is really hard on dog's kidneys. My golden retriever likes to fetch her tennis ball, but her mouth is open while swimming back with it and she ends up swallowing too much water and then gets diarrhea. I would suggest keeping those kind of fetching activities to a minimum. Beautiful scenery here...you'll see pelican, gopher tortoises, maybe even dolphin! This is an on leash park. There is a place to rinse your dog and give them water. Last things...there is a fee to enter and the parking lot gets full and you may have to wait...

The dog aspect of this park is great. Both large and small dog areas are large, with isolation areas in both, for dogs that are a little to feisty or training purposes. For the most part we all let our dogs big and small mingle. Respecting any requests to not do so. There are several dog waste bag dispensers, on each side. Water hoses, and pads for small swimming pools. As well as a few watering stations along the fence lines. I've met many friendly dogs and responsible dog lovers there. The lack of restrooms caused me to give the park three stars. So, relieve yourself and...
