NSB SkatePark — Attraction in New Smyrna Beach

I don’t skateboard- this park is one of my son’s favorites and mine too. They offer free skate lessons on Saturday mornings starting at 9- unless it’s raining. They have skate camps in winter, spring, & summer. The whole park is fenced in, monitored by an adult at all times & is a safe place to leave your older child. Tary, Tito, & John are all excellent at teaching the kiddos to skate & behave themselves. Anyone who works there or fills in is always awesome.- They also have to pass a background check- always a plus. Cameras all over the park as well. NSB Skatepark also has a cool little skateboard shop, which makes me wish I knew how to skateboard. If you need to rent gear? They got you covered there too. If you’re looking to ride a scooter or bike? Edgewater has a very nice park, very close by- Ormond is also great & allows scooters & bikes. Ormond has drinks, snacks, rentals, a bathroom, same fenced in area. If you’re in NSB, don’t forget to check out NSB SKATE PARK & Skate Shop the only thing missing? Lights!!!...

This is by far the cleanest and most well kept skate park we have ever been to. The owners are great coaches to the beginner skaters and were able to show my son a few new techniques that have seriously improved his skills. The have FREE lessons on Saturday mornings (weather permitting) and they really know how to work with the kids to help them boost their confidence. It's not one of those parks where you just drop your kids off and go, there are a lot of parents that stay and support their children's interest in skating and a lot of the parents get in on the action and skate as well. Love this place, great for all ages and skill levels. The Saturday morning lessons are awesome, the coach is amazing and you can see his passion for skateboarding and ability to work very well with kids.
