Visited here to check this center out as a potential venue for an event. Maria, one of the employees was insanely helpful and a veritable fount of information! The grounds were beautiful, even covered in snow, and we could tell that when in bloom, would be even more gorgeous. I'm almost tempted to leave a bad review just to keep others away to keep the center all for myself, but I have to be honest, the Greenbelt Recreation Center is a great little place that is remote, quiet, and nice and cozy. They are a bit small, perhaps, but are very accommodating and have a lot of resources for your use.

Greenbelt recreation center is great, with many activities, friendly and helpful staff and good and friendly crowd. Many activities for kids and adults. Enjoy!!

I was here for a COVID-19 test. All the stuff are very friendly and you just have to start a chat if the person isn't talking and voila they'll make your day

I don't understand why they are closing the Greenbelt testing. I get it its owned by Parks Dept. With that said NYC HSS really needs to think abt letting this happen that they are closing 4/30/2022. So many people use this facility and its perfect for so many people being right in the middle of Staten Island. With Covid not really out of the woods yet and the CDC asking people to go for more boosters seriously how? Will this be possible if people can not get tested? The home testing may help but most people don't feel safe with doing it themselves. People please feel free to let the NYC HSS know how you feel abt this matter of Greenbelt shutting down!!...

I’ve been coming to this place for working out for a few years now and I love it. All equipment are newer and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If you’re a hard core gym fellow you might wanna skip it, but if you just need a few hours of cardio per week then you should check it out. Okay now that the Covid mania has cooled down a bit the restrictions have eased up and I see more people and young kids coming in. It’s ok but it gets tight at...
