Beach, woods, dog park, tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, walking / jogging paths and a roller hockey rink. For Staten Island, or even for NYC this is definitely one of the nicer parks. Lucky to have a place like this so close to home, you would expect to find parks like this in NJ, but considering it's in NYC, it's got to be one of the nicest there is in this city.

The dog park is a great medium sized park, overlooking the beach with running water most spring, summer and fall months so you can refill your dogs water bottle. I believe they shut the water off around Thanksgiving and turn it on sometime around end of March .

Nice raised trailers along the beach house the public restrooms.

You'll also find very nice picnic area close to the pond itself as well as some decent trails in the woods that connect to lemon Creek on the other side of the pond.

For beach goers in the summer there is usually a...

I'll never forget the first time I went to Wolfes Pond Park as a 10-Year old boy. I remember my parents waking me and my brother up at 4:30 am on a Saturday. They were packing all this stuff into two cars; grills, coolers, beach chairs, and plenty of food and beverages. I couldn’t keep my eyes open and fell asleep in the car the whole way there. When I woke up I was in awe. We were there from 6am to about 9pm. I remember my mom and aunt cooking up bacon and eggs on the grill. We did everything from playing in the playground, going to the beach and playing Frisbee, and then my dad rented a boat and we went from one end of the lake to the other. What an amazing experience. Around dusk we were cooking up ribs and chicken and listening to the Mets game on a transistor radio. It was heaven. I love Wolfes Pond Park and have enjoyed it many times ever since that one...

This park has a lot in one place. 2 playgrounds for the kids - 1 by the pond and 1 by the sports courts overlooking the beach 1 hockey rink, never used but I would imagine good enough for teens & under 1 fenced in tennis court Multiple basketball courts in 1 large fence, refinished with a couple of benches 2 dog runs/attached - separate entrances. One larger and one much smaller 1 Short finished trail about 1 mile or less leaking from dog tryin back to playing area 1 Open field for picnics or running around 1 exercise area with outdoor machines 1 BBQ field 1 Wolf Pond Multiple hiking trails - tbh never walked then so I can't speak for them. 1 bathroom - park hours 1 bathroom - Beach hours 3 different parking lots Beech - Not really a fan of the shore line as the sand has clay like staining properties. Still nicer for a walk or sitting...
