Just placed my order of nearly 70 of their trees. I can not wait to see how beautiful this will transform our property. I have been emailing them for a week or so to get more info and suggestions. They were very responsive and helpful picking out size, type, colors, and growing habits. Can't wait to get these in the ground. Our driveway is about 100 yards long and we are lining it with these trees. Pics to come soon! Update! Last year I purchased over 140 in total. Some locally some from Bob Well's nursery in Texas, and about 70 from Crape Myrtle company. I have been planting an growing trees, scrubs, and flowers my whole life. Currently I'm grafting many of my fruit trees as well as my decorative trees. I'm familiar. Nearly all of the trees survived from the other stores. (Lost 2) My order from Crape Myrtle company was different. For some reason unknown only 11 survived. I have been going back and forth with them since the spring. I thought they would do the right thing and send me some more to replace the ones that did not make it. I think my order was over $1500. It seems I have been ghosted as they have not returned an email for over 3 weeks. Guess I'm out basically $1500. BTW the 2 I lost- was a local company and they replaced them. Industry standard overall is 1 year warranty. I was really looking forward to these trees making my property beautiful. Now I have to find another $1500 and another place to purchase them.

As a change from the usual golf balls for my birthday, this year I researched the Crepe Myrtle Co and asked my kids for a dwarf crepe myrtle as a gift. Very nice surprise when I opened the shipping box and found a 2nd bonus tree (shipping docs say 15% get a free 2nd tree). Packaging retained some of the moisture in the soil packed with the roots, so plants arrived healthy. Instructions are very comprehensive, and after following them closely, both trees sprouted new growth in their 1st week. I planted one in ground (photo shows only the top), larger one in a big pot. One of the trees had mildew on the leaves, which I treated with neem oil (company recommends Bayer or Ortho, but Neem worked). Instructions warn against over-watering, which is difficult in S Florida with summer rainstorms, but after 2 weeks the rain has had no effect on the plants. Looking forward to first flowers later this summer.

I purchased 4 more of your miniature crape myrtles mid-August; they arrived shortly thereafter, and I planted them in pots between my cypress trees. They’re growing beautifully already! Among the 4 were Delta Blush, and although I hadn’t expected to see flowers until next year, as I walked by a few minutes ago, noticed a tiny pink flower already! What a beautiful surprise! And the other miniatures’ foliage is gorgeous as Fall makes its entrance. I’ve been purchasing from your company for several years now because I believe you’re tough to beat when it comes to crape myrtles. The added plus is your newsletter which gives great tips on how to care for the crapes. So my yard and gardens are adorned with 15 (so far), of your crape myrtles. Because you developed the miniatures, I use them almost as much as I use roses. I’m a well-pleased customer!

I ordered plants from this company and they were at my door in less than a week. They were completely protected by the packaging and were in good soil. There were complete instructions included on their care and planting. They also included a free plant as other reviews have said. I planted them a week later but still a bit early because our weather was so nice, but then we had several freezes. (They sent them early because I specifically requested it.) I didn't cover them because they are hardy varieties and they were fully mulched. They've all survived though some developed far, far behind the others and I thought they had died. Contacting them was not difficult, though in the spring they are often at job sites and have to return calls. They are very nice and very helpful. When I thought that some trees were dead I was told how to check to be sure. When some still weren't sprouting, I called back and they said they would replace them (even the free one!) if I sent pictures of the trees. There was no mention of returning dead trees and paying the postage! They simply wanted me to give the trees enough time to develop, which I did, and now they've all sprouted just before I had replacements shipped. I just let them know that there is no need to replace the plants.

As far as a bad review listed on Google: You started complaining before the plants even arrived because you wanted "good" plants? How insulting. I don't blame them for cancelling your order. Who needs that kind of nonsense? Far better to just let you go than to deal with you.

These people are far better than other plant sources I've used. I would definitely...

I ordered the Kiowa and the Near East, and was delighted when the package arrived with a 2nd Kiowa as a gift. Packaging was great, and all 3 plants were in perfect condition, very green and supple as though they had just left the nursery. They have been in the ground for 3 weeks and are flourishing. Detailed instructions for planting and care were included and I followed them exactly. (I never would have thought of using Miracle Grow soil, but boy is it working!) The plants have new growth every day and are already beginning to look like miniature Crape Myrtle trees. I had never grown Crapes before, but I've fallen in love with these beautiful plants, so much so that I just ordered a Biloxi. I think I've become addicted. And I'm a big fan of the Crape Myrtle Company. When they give you a shipping date, they ship; you get exactly what you ordered (and sometimes, as in my case, a very nice surprise),; and everything you need to know about fertilizing, pruning, etc, can be found on their website. I will definitely order from them again!

Just an update. My Biloxi arrived with a friend . . . I received a 2nd Biloxi as a gift! One is 4' and the other slightly shorter. The 4' has 2 very nice woody trunks already, which is great because I love the multi-trunk look. Both plants arrived in great shape and are just beautiful. My 2 experiences with The Crape Myrtle Company are the best I've ever had when ordering plants. I couldn't be...
