Gully Washer Splash Park — Attraction in Newberry

My experience with booking the private party was TERRIBLE. The fact that I spend so much money with this company as a pass holder is insane my daughter loves the park but when I held her PRIVATE party there they didn't specify that they would have to get in the water at a certain time nor did they allow time for me to put up decorations after spending so much money. My kids had to eat cold pizza because they didn't tell us about the time. They gave me 30 minutes on their own to decorate and said I needed to pay for more time if I needed it after spending (x) amount of money with them. They gave me 15 more minutes with the water on HOWEVER that doesn't change the fact I paid for a character to come and food and they couldn't enjoy it. They offered another shelter as an apology then changed their mind because they feel like I should be satisfied WHICH IM NOT. Let me say this- a park/facility like this has been long overdue in this area. What is there is very nice and although I’m not sure of what the long term plans are, I can’t help but feel like this is a lost opportunity. Why? 3 words- South Carolina heat. There should be a full water park built here. There is only one within an hour driving distance and it requires some security steps because it’s on a military base. If a more robust water park was added here, I believe it would become insanely popular for locals and tourists alike! Oh, and I feel that county residents should not have to pay to use the park.
