I recently visited Colby Farm with my family and it was a wonderful summer time stop. The admission fee of $10 per car to see the sunflowers was definitely worth it, as it allowed us to wander around the beautiful grounds and take in the stunning scenery.

The sunflower field was absolutely gorgeous and provided plenty of opportunities for photography and landscape shots. My family and I enjoyed taking pictures and capturing the beauty of the sunflowers. We even got some great portraits that we'll cherish for years to come.

The farm also had a charming country store that offered a variety of items, including fresh produce and homemade treats. We picked up some delicious apple cider donuts and fresh fruits that were perfect for a snack on our way back home.

One of the things that stood out to me the most was how family-friendly Colby Farm is. There were plenty of families with children running around and enjoying the sunflowers, which created a lovely and...

Me and my friend drove 2 hours!! for sunflower photography, both the website and the facebook said it was open, we got there and they had closed the sunflower field because a thunderstorm had passed through 1 hour before, it wasn't raining and you could see the sun! But they wouldn’t let us in the field. The woman was not kind when we asked about the sunflowers, she seemed annoyed we were there. When we asked if they would re open that day she said we’d have to come back tomorrow, but how we’re we supposed to know they closed! We had been waiting all year for the sunflowers and they couldn’t even let us walk to a different part of the property because it was “too dangerous because of lighting” but we could walk the field around the sunflowers no problem! My disappointment was immeasurable and our day was ruined, complete waste of gas and time. And bad costumer service. I rarely leave bad reviews on businesses, but this was just...

I came here hoping to see the sunflower field with my boyfriend. We asked a super nice man that worked there where it was. He told us where it was and also told us that all of the sunflowers were dead, but we could still go look at them. We thought it would be funny to take a photo with all of the dead flowers so we went to the field. As we are walking there from our car, a man that worked there came over out of nowhere YELLING at us “get the f out of here, you have no right to be here, you don’t see me in your back yard, etc.” he was SO rude and it was uncalled for. First of all, he could have just said “you can’t be here, please leave” but instead he ruined our whole day. People that work there should be on the same page about everything, but especially if people can or cannot see the field and if you are going to be nice or rude to your customers. I will never go back and I will advise everyone I know to...

Colby Farm Sunflower Field is definitely bucket list worthy! If you are looking for something fun to do in MA, this is a must! Walk amongst the sunflowers and dont forget your camera! Fun for the whole family, even your well behaved dog. #sunflowerfield #mustdo #massachusetts #daytrip #dogfriendly

We love and grow our own sunflowers but certainly not this many. A great summer time stop that allows you to wander the grounds with your entire family including fido. They usually have a small selection of farm animals and lots of tractors from different era. I've seen other sunflower attractions put pianos and doors in the crop to entice more creative photography. We go almost every year and admission is by the car load so car pooling is popular. A small fam store with some veggies and trinkets is close by. They also have an outside grill with burgers and hot dogs. This is a very short seasonal attraction. Check directly with Colby Farm about peak bloom and harvest. Weather is the #1 contributing factor.

I visited Colby Farm about five years ago, and this year I had the chance to come back to see the sunflowers again. It was truly a wonderful moment — I relived some special memories and took beautiful photos with the sunflowers, which looked amazing. It was very satisfying to capture these moments with my family and enjoy the beauty of the sunflower field. I highly recommend Colby Farm! Their products are also excellent. I tried the almond cookie, which was delicious, and we also bought some honey. I haven’t tried the honey yet, but I’m sure it will be just as tasty. Great place to parking and enjoy the field with animal and set up with flowers to take photos!
