Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm — Attraction in Newbury

There's too much to say about how wonderful this place is. It's one of the most peaceful places to visit, whether you go to spend time with their rescued farm animals or are just looking for a spot to sit in the shade and ponder, I love it and it's so beautiful. If you go during the week and go during the regular work day it's rare to find anyone there besides the animals and it's surreal and lovely. SPL has been a staple in my life for over 20 years. I wish they would do more events but they seem to be getting back into the swing of things post COVID.

The animal care taker is the sweetest woman you will meet. She passionately loves this land and all that are on it. She is the epitome of caretaker.

We were there for the Christmas Tree Event. Lots of nice trees & decorations to go with it!

They have treats out for the whole family! Popcorn. Cookies. Brownies. Coffee & Hot Cocoa.

Plus they have some farm animals on the property that the kids can look at up close. 2 pigs. A mini horse. Some goats. Some chickens and a few other animals.

There was also a little trackter ride around the farm house for the family to enjoy!

This year (2018) they also have each child a special stuffed animal.
