The guy above was right. This place IS a gem! and this place IS hard to find! I'm still not sure how I got onto the trail. At first, I took Jones Ave south from NE 44th. There wasn't any parking, so I parked by the side of the road and hiked in over the bridge. Soon, I realized this was just a place for maintenance crews and the trail ended shortly. So, I drove around and took May Creek Drive. Again, there wasn't a parking lot. I did see the trail so I wound up parking on 129th Ave SE and hiked a different trail down to May Creek Park Dr., crossed the street and soon I was on the actual trail. It is a very nice trail but it drops deep into a valley before you reach the creek. It's a beautiful hike, but it can be VERY treacherous at times. The trail is well groomed but it is very narrow and on a few different occasions you find yourself right on the edge of a cliff. I would not want to hike this trail when the ground is muddy/slippery nor would I want a dog or small child with me because of the threat of a very...

This park is connected to the Honey Dew Park . It was confusing for our group when we got to the dead-end of the May Creek Park but did not know that we could enter the Honey Dew Park. However, all the trails are beautiful, signs are clear, the public environment is clean, neat but people often do not leash their dogs which may cause dangers to other trailers. I love how I can immerse myself into the beautiful nature while listening to the birds' sound, sound of the running water. I felt refreshed, comfortable and relaxed after finishing the May Creek Trail. In general, I highly recommend people visit this park when they need...

Where in the holy hell is the trail head? Google maps takes me to a neighborhood without park access. I drove around the entire perimeter unable to find an entrance. Update: eventually found the “trailhead.” As it turns out you have to walk about 200-300 meters down a utility road before the trail starts. You’d think an area this affluent would’ve invested in a proper sign. Having said that, it was a...

This is a beautiful park with many loosely connected trails. The trails generally follow May Creek and Honey Creek. It is mostly stone and pack soil surface but also reclaimed roads. There are many wooden bridges and great views of the creeks. Not really much in the way of official parking (neighborhood pullouts that fit 2 or 3 cars). There are no facilities and minimal signage.
