The section my GPS brought me to, was completely overgrown and inaccessible! On my way back south on 239, I did see some parking areas that looked as though there might be some reasonable trails to access. I did not stop to explore, but will come back to see if Waze just took me to a bad location. At that point I will re-access my review and hopefully give the park a better rating. While this trip was very disappointing, I'm holding out hope for a better experience next time. I must admit however the towns along the way were quite rustic and charming. The area is definitely worth further exploration!

Great mountain bike trail. Couple items of note: - You will need a mountain bike, not suitable for hybrid - Not for beginners, there are some technically challenging areas - Wait at least a day or two after it rains before going, water puddles up along trail - Bug spray is probably a good idea - Can be done solo however there are signs of larger wildlife so take precaution Bottom trail head has two picnic tables and dedicated parking.

I am going to do my best to be fair, as it is not the fault of the trail or those who care for it that we've had some rainy weather, and the trail was super muddy and had puddles the size of small lakes throughout.... That being said... The location is beautiful. It is a super peaceful and quiet trail. Unfortunately I didn't see much wildlife with the exception of a few birds and a squirrel. The trail is maintained pretty well, however I was disappointed to see empty beer cans littered about. It's a trail I will take again, after we've had a few more sunny and dry days. Next time I go I plan on taking some gloves and garbage bags as well. Be the change you want to...
