Bartlett's Blueberry Farm — Attraction in Newport

Loved it here! They give you little buckets with a string attached to put around your neck so your hands are free for picking the blueberries. They hold a pound of blueberries and they give you a large bucket to dump the little ones into. I brought my family- there was 2 adults and 6 little kids and we picked 8lbs of blueberries. The only thing I didn’t like was that the rows are not very wide so I couldn’t use my stroller for my 1 & 2 year olds- so they ran around but thankfully it’s all fenced and netted in! The owners were super friendly and willing to answer any questions....

I’ve picked my own blueberries in Oregon, Michigan, Maine, Montana and New Hampshire and I’ve never seen such a well tended, productive, organized patch. I told the owner, Pete, that I think he must do a fine job of pruning to get such a great crop. He told me that he prunes each plant himself.
