Previously, parked at the Day use parking lot, climbed over the sand dunes, and headed to the beach. This time, I took the Old South Jetty Trail through Yaquina Bay State Park, walked across the beach to return. If you have time, this is a trail worth exploring. As you walk through the forest for a while, you can get a view of the Yaquina Bay Bridge and walk back across a quiet sandy beach. Walking with three very excited dogs for 2.9 miles, I could feel their absolute trust and gratitude.

Pretty beach. It was a bit windy but overall a nice place to spend an hour. We brought our dog and he had a great time playing with other dogs there as well. Very close to the camp grounds which made it a good combination for our stay.

Great place to spend the day with the kids. Lots of parking, even for RVs. Brought our RV and have no problem finding a place to park it. Plenty of room to turn around as well.

Lots of parking, restrooms, a spigot to rinse off, and a wide open beach! Good for walking along, playing in the sand (and the water on sunny days), and relaxing. ⚠️ You'll have to climb up and down the dune between the parking lot and the beach, but it's...

I would have loved to actually enjoy the beach, but I wasn't able to find a fee pay station that wasn't online. I only had cash. So I couldn't pay to park. It was very disappointing, and it felt a little discriminating, with having only 1 option for...
