Listed as Otter Crest Viewpoint, this is actually Cape Foulweather. The listed location in google is a private neighborhood, which I've suggested they update haha. Same parking lot. Otter Crest is at the end of the parking lot to the left, and to the right is Cape Foulweather and the gift shop.

We have been here on multiple occasions. Some beautiful days; others like today, quite FOUL. There is a 500 ft sheer drop to the ocean off of the cape right next to the gift shop, which neatly overhangs the cliff.

Fantastic viewpoint on a clear day of the miles of the coast line from north south.

Photos attached here were 12/29/22 on a rainy and foggy day, not even a stormy day.

There can be apparently no wind in the parking lot, but 50 ft from your spot at the cape.or the lookout, you can be hit with 50 mph winds. It's an...

Otter Crest Viewpoint is a stunning hidden gem along the Oregon Coast—absolutely worth the stop! The parking area is small but convenient, and from the moment you step out of the car, you’re greeted with sweeping views of the ocean, dramatic cliffs, and lush coastal forest.

It’s a peaceful spot to stretch your legs, snap some amazing photos, or just take in the beauty of the Pacific. On a clear day, you can see for miles, and even on a misty morning, the views are magical in their own way.

There are a few benches and plenty of space to enjoy the scenery without crowds. Whether you’re driving Highway 101 or exploring the coast, Otter Crest Viewpoint is a must-see stop for nature lovers and photographers alike. Quiet, serene, and...

This is one of the best view points on the Oregon coast. To the north is Depoe Bay, with its whale watching and to the south is The Devils Punch Bowl. With a good set of binoculars you can see both areas as well as the sea lions baking in the beach and rocks. On a sunny day, the view is breathtaking with deep blue ocean giving way to white foam and turquoise shallows. This viewpoint also has a tourist shop/visitors center that offers great views and information about the area wildlife. Be sure to pick up a free pamphlet with the tide tables for your beach combing excursions. The Otter Crest Loop is a great drive, and the lookout is a bonus that should...

This is one of the top 2 view points on the Oregon coast. In a clear day you can see whales, sea lions, and all types of coastline that make Oregon a favorite for visitors. To the north is Depoe Bay with its whale watching tours, visible through binoculars from this view point. To the south is Devils Punchbowl with the sea churning in and out of the large formation in the cliff. The beaches below this view point are a favorite for sea lions. Looking out to sea from this height is amazing. The deep blue gives way to turquoise as it approaches the shore. Be sure to check out this viewpoint while driving on the coast, and bring your binoculars for the best views.
