I have been here a few times over a span of 10 years. A few field trips with kids and many times just to get items for decorating. I enjoyed every visit. Some things are just things kids will enjoy, some are more for the whole family. We arrived just after opening time. If you are going to a place like this, you need to remember, this isn't just their business, its a farm and as far as I remember their home, they have to tend to things. Its really not nice to show up after closing and expect to be let in. There are a handful of bad reviewers on here, read them carefully before deciding to avoid this farm. We went on different occasions, many years in a row now. I have went with different people each time. Schools conduct different tours with them, so you may see some schools come in and go one way with a different age group or guide. My advice, call ahead and plan your trip if you are worried about how things are handled, ask questions. Make sure you give yourself time to enjoy the farm, their hours are posted and they are really nice when...
Read moreThis was our second year to take our grandsons to Peebles and we enjoyed it even more than last year. It is such a great family atmosphere. This year they added the pig races, a kiddie corn maze, a new butterfly photo op. They were all awesome. The grandsons loved the zipline, petting zoo and just about everything there was to do. The price to get in was $15 each and we felt like we got our money's worth. I noticed some reviews said that they charged for the hayride, but they didn't this year. We went on a Thursday afternoon, and it was not crowded at all. The only thing we missed (besides the crowds) by coming during the week was the pumpkin blaster. I love all the rocking chairs scattered around, so we could relax and watch the kids play. Last but not least, the employees are awesome and try to make sure that everyone has a great time. Bring your own water or pay $2 a bottle. The pumpkins, gourds and sunflowers are all reasonably priced and they have a...
Read moreWent to Peebles tonight for the haunted corn maze. For starters, the ‘haunted’ part was 1 guy roaming the maze. Ran into him once- a big letdown from previous years. Secondly, everyone was running through the corn- there was no rule posted on sight nor on the website, so everyone assumed it was okay. We weren’t causing any destruction, just running through to scare each other. A guy with a badge caught us going through the corn and made us all leave the farm. Didn’t listen when we said sorry and we won’t do it again nor when we said everyone was doing it and there was no rule. The only rule was a sign asking to please not throw the corn; I suggest adding to that sign or be more lenient to people having harmless fun. Loved the place before today and had no problems until. Only positive was that the light pollution was low so the Milky Way was...
