The entrance to this park is used as a hideout for the local punk deputy to set up a trap. AL 134 coming from Daleville to Newton has a unique stop sign to turn right into town what would normally be a yield sign. This is used by the local deputy to trap drivers and fund raise for the town.

Read moreThe front of this park is very deceiving because it's a little run down, there are working (but dirty) restrooms, but you will have to bring your own toilet paper.
However if you drive a little bit back there is a large park with plenty of space for walking, picnicking, frisby, or any outdoor sport really. There is also a large boat ramp that gives you direct access to the river.
