The entrance to this park is used as a hideout for the local punk deputy to set up a trap. AL 134 coming from Daleville to Newton has a unique stop sign to turn right into town what would normally be a yield sign. This is used by the local deputy to trap drivers and fund raise for the town. At the threat of lawyer fees, court dates, loss of work and more you get to choose between $150+ ticket and license points deduction (along with your car insurance hikes)or $230 and hour of online drivers ed. The town is an example of a rural speed trap ran by corrupt politicians. Fix this place!

The front of this park is very deceiving because it's a little run down, there are working (but dirty) restrooms, but you will have to bring your own toilet paper. However if you drive a little bit back there is a large park with plenty of space for walking, picnicking, frisby, or any outdoor sport really. There is also a large boat ramp that gives you direct access to the river. This is a great little park for the family with direct access to the river.

One of my favorite parks to visit. Its not a playground park for kids but its definitely a family park for relaxing, exploring. Access to a boat ramp to launch any water craft to enjoy a day out on the river. There is plenty of wide open space to allow for your pets to roam free. With a small number if visitors this is an optimal location to get in some quiet time. A beautiful creek junction runs between the park and the local motorcross track. It provides a few areas for good fishing in the...
