The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of how long we had to wait in line. We arrived at 820pm, and did not get to the 1st house until about 1030pm. I also believe they needed more actors entertaining the whole line, because after awhile we all started to get over it and was wishing we didn't go. They had 4 awesome, wonderful, cool, and friendly great actors at the beginning of the lines but not at the end of the lines or in the back rows. We only went thru 2 of the houses because my 10 year old was 100% over standing in the lines, if we go back next year he will not be going with us. The 1st house was cool, and had more then what I would expect, all of the actors inside were wonderful and interactive. The 2nd house was a zombie theme and they handed out toy guns. Not to every member of your party, depending on how many in your group, you will only receive 1 and that was pretty lame to us. Once inside it made sense, small spaces, not alot of zombies and all of them were behind a wall expect 1 who was probably the best actor of the night for us, he did his job well and helped my little one when his gun quit working. But as soon as he fixed it, he was shot down and went straight back into character. Awesome dude! I do hope I can convince my boyfriend to go again next year because overall I had fun and it changed my mind about...
Β Β Β Read moreThis is the most disorganized mess. These people have did this for years and I just donβt understand. Parking is unbelievable. The line is literally all the way down Tates Creek. When you get to the front the person lets one person go, watches them park, then lets the next person go. What?? No wonder the line does NOT move. Donβt even get me started on how unsafe it is to be on the side of Tates Creek Road with cars going 55 miles an hour past you. Then when you get inside and actually get in line for the haunted houses, it is also a mess nobody knows whatβs going on. You just stand there the lines donβt move. So when you are done and it is time to leave, you have to pull out on Tates Creek Road with cars going 55 miles an hour and you canβt see around the cars that are coming into the park because not only are they right in front of you because coming in and leaving are next to each other, but the cars entering bright lights are on you. I donβt know how nobody has been killed. This is completely unacceptable. The amount of money that these people bring in every year on this park they should have security or off-duty police officers not only doing the parking but directing people out of the park. I will never ever ever come here again. It is so unsafe on so many...
Β Β Β Read moreThis was one of the best scare attractions Iβve ever been too (including amusement parks, forests, haunted houses and haunted caves this place was honestly the top 1 or 2 Iβve ever been to). The three part sectioning of the scare attractions was so much fun, had really awesome features and the zombie laser tag part was so unique. Overall decorations in each section was top knotch including the fear forest walk with clown section/fun house. The scare characters were great and definitely got me with a few of their jump scares. I was also impressed with the number of staffing as there was no scare zone that really felt understaffed which is saying something because this place feels larger than it seems. The lines werenβt terribly long as we went the day before Halloween and were one of the last people in line at 9:40pm and took us about an hour to go through the whole thing. Parking was easy and free. Easy access to portapottys all around. The drink and vending area was also well stocked and the music they played while we waited to get into the first attraction was fun. Overall this place was top knotch and I was extremely impressed for the price. Definitely a must attend for scare lovers...
