Wanderwood — Attraction in Nobleboro

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Matt and Kelsey's farmhouse, Wanderwood, and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a truly special retreat.

First and foremost, the farmhouse itself is absolutely stunning. The combination of rustic charm and modern amenities created the perfect balance of comfort and style. The attention to detail was impeccable, with every corner carefully curated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The farmhouse also boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Walking down the forrest path to the lake was a dream come true. The tranquility and serenity of the location truly allowed for a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The hosts, Matt and Kelsey, were exceptional in every way. Their hospitality and warmth made me feel like I was visiting old friends. They were always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations for local attractions and eateries. Their passion for creating a memorable experience for their guests was evident in every interaction.

One highlight of my stay was the outdoor space. The expansive yard and farm area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Whether it was sipping a cup of coffee in the morning or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening, this space became my sanctuary during my stay.

It is a sad but true cliché that weddings can be stressful events. Not so at Wanderwood. The minute we arrived at the farmhouse, we were instantly relaxed by the beautiful property and Matt and Kelsey's warmth, calm, and amazing organization.

The farmhouse is beautiful and easily accommodated ourselves and our six guest. We enjoyed relaxing and catching up with our families there on Friday afternoon too.

The farm and barn were a stunning backdrop for our event. We chose to have our ceremony in an untraditional spot and Matt and Kelsey were so kind and thoughtful about accommodating our request and making the site work. We loved having our band in the barn which was a fantastic dance floor for our 85 person wedding, and we even had space for a few tables for guests and favors in there too.

We were so happy that we asked Kelsey and Leah to manager our wedding weekend. They shared an extremely well organized and detailed plan of the wedding weekend before our on site meeting and we were grateful for all of their questions about how we wanted the day to go. We got married at Wanderwood on August 10th, and could not have been more thrilled with our decision to hold our special day there. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I heard countless friends and family members assure me that with all weddings, not everything goes according to plan. I actually mean this when I say that every single detail of our day went off without a hitch, largely thanks to Kelsey and Matt’s incredible coordination. I cannot overstate how smoothly things went, both at the wedding itself but also during the planning process. And in addition to making our lives as brides easier, they also have created a venue that is absolutely magical. Guests were agog at the beauty of Wanderwood, and it was so beautiful seeing them walk through the flowers and produce farm during cocktail hour, taking in all of the beauty that Wanderwood has to offer.
