It is a beautiful place pn the Intercoastal to launch a kayak, canoe, or paddleboard. You have to go when the tide is just right though or you will be in for quite a workout. If tide is coming in you will have some choppy waves to work past. If during a busy boating time, you will have a lot of fairly good size boats blowing by and knocking you around. If you get past the channel there are calmer waters on opposite side of the Intercoastal. If tide is not coming in, and not a busy boat day, the water will be quite calm and relaxing.
