I’ve made so made great memories at this lake. Always a great time here and the lake is plenty big enough to boat around without it being overcrowded, even on the busiest days. Seems to have a lovey up and coming set of businesses. Best place in east river SD to spend a weekend.

This is what South Dakota fishing is all about. Fishing for some South Dakota gold will keep you busy all day! This lake constantly produces nice walleye and perch. Plus it’s over 7900 acres so there’s plenty of lake to go around.

Had a great time fishing on Lake Poinsett! Fish were not fast and furious but still caught 5 different kinds of fish! The West boat ramp is now open for easy access!
