I attended the Mother’s Day brunch, and I was totally disappointed. I was so looking forward to enjoying the tasty food listed in the menu on the invitation. At $50 (plus tax) a plate, I assumed that this would be a catered buffet affair with delicious soul food being served. Instead, me and my daughter were served some of the worst food I have ever been served on a Mother’s Day, or any other day! First off, the food was not served hot, just barely warm, and they used those cheap aluminum serving containers, and not the professional covered stainless steel containers kept hot over burners. They also served the food in takeout styrofoam containers. The yellow rice was almost cold and it was clumped together and unseasoned; some of the bland string beans still had the stem and stalks attached; the mac and cheese was a bland and barely seasoned mess; and the mashed sweet potatoes, while seasoned, was loaded with strings. I have never in my life had sweet potatoes with strings in them! There was a choice of either chicken or salmon. I chose chicken, my daughter chose salmon. The chicken was so dry and overcooked that I had a hard time cutting it with the cheap prepackaged utensils they gave you. My daughter said the salmon was just ok, but it looked overcooked to me. I am glad I didn’t choose it. The salad was the only thing I ended up eating some of. The rest of the meal I threw in the garbage. And they did not serve any desserts. I was like for $50 a plate, they could have least included a dessert. Instead they had a food truck vendor selling desserts outside. My daughter ended op paying $22 for desserts. This is on top of the $100 we paid for the disaster of a brunch meal. To our credit, although completely turned off, before we left we did buy bottles of wine. We figured they couldn’t screw that up. Besides, we have had their wines before, and they are usually pretty good. So we try to support black businesses, but you’ll got to do better. I was so glad to see all the families that came out to honor and celebrate their mothers. Matter of fact, the event was sold out! You guys should be ashamed to have served such a poor quality of food and service to your customers. For the money me and my daughter put out, we could have gone to many other establishments and had a way better dining experience. But we chose to support and patronize your establishment. You keep this up, and you will eventually start losing customers. I might be...

Good evening,

Let me first say that I was extremely excited to be attending the Neo-soul event on last Saturday evening (4/26). That all was overshadowed by the events that took place that disappointed me tremendously. First, there was a different take on the parking. Coming into the second driveway, there were two gentlemen directing traffic. We were directed into two different lines. Upon the gentleman asking if we had tickets or needed tickets, we were still guided into one lane of traffic. Upon getting parked, we got in line at 2:45pm. It was 3:50 before we got to the line just to be checked by security. It was another 7-10 minutes getting to the check-in table. Two things that were frustrating about this. 1)There were two ladies at the table, yet one wasn't helping to get the line down. She was merely sitting. 2)The young lady that was working had to go through a lengthy list of pages to find my name. I don't understand the purpose of paying for tickets on which you get a QR code, but not have the capability to scan it. That would be much more quicker and efficient than having to look up a name.Β  While I enjoyed the local band, I wasn't aware that it would take more than three hours for the headliner(Leela James) to take the stage. To add insult to injury, her performance of 30-40 minutes was lackluster and disappointing. I observed people leaving at 6:35 and all during the course of her performance. We were set up close to the vendor area in front of house two. As a patron that has on a walking boot, being close to the restrooms were ideal. That is until I observed the exceptionally long line, to discover that only one of the three restrooms were operable. I have been to events here before, and aside from the Wi-Fi being sketchy at times, which is understandable given the area, I have enjoyed each visit. This time was really upsetting. I hope that there will be time taken to see what can be done to prevent these occurrences from happening often in the near future. I am all for supporting my fellow black owned businesses. Maybe take the time to discuss steps to improve what can be done and continue to excel in what is successful. I do look forward to attending other events in the very foreseeable...

I was excited to visit this Vineyard. 😁 The six of us traveled from Cary, Durham, and Morrisville to link up for a day at this Black-owned vineyard. Our initial impression was a two-star but after seeing that we could upgrade to VIP and the level of service we received this is an easy 4 star. This vineyard is a good time for sure. If you're reading this review go check it out! You'll enjoy it.

My friends and I went in on a table for six ($150 total), which only included a table with chairs. We arrived to find out it was out underneath the beaming sun. This was unacceptable for my crew and I. We didn't realize we had to arrive early to be in the shade. Cool! How do we get VIP, under shelter with shade? They called over Jamaal and he was courteous, professional and extremely helpful and allowed us to upgrade to VIP for an additional fee. Jamaal took care of us and we appreciate it. We received a few bottles of wine with the VIP.

Overall, I enjoyed the experience and glad to support. I look forward to coming back seeing how Seven Springs Vineyard evolves.

Suggestions: I know it's a process. You’re newly established and hopefully, as you grow you may consider some of these things. Make the VIP Experience more special and more advertised on your website. Explain what type of seating people can expect because we were surprised 😲 Add ceiling fans or heavy duty fans in VIP Hire Servers for VIP, free-up Jamall he can't handle all of VIP Mirrors and AC in the bathrooms Handbag hooks in the bathroom Variety of foods and additional Food trucks. On a hot summer day, we’d like something on the lighter side Fruit and frozen fruit treats, veggie cups, chicken salad. Etc Just Something lighter! 😁

Thank you for a nice Vineyard experience. I hope to come back early...

Black owned and Family operated. Based on the customer service I recieved and my interactions with the staff, I knew that Seven Springs was an ideal place to visit. The wine is high quality... flavorful... and expertly paired by the staff... Jamal in the tasting room introduced us to some of the concept wine blends he was experimenting with and he advised us that they had the ability create special blends on site that would elevate the tasting room experiance upon request. I asked to try one of the blends we discussed and Jamal graciously poured us a glass of a special cocktail known locally as... (I'm not telling your gonna have to visit the tasting room and see if they offer you something unique) all I will say is it's a blend of some of their premium wines and the flavor far exceeded my expectations. As we enjoyed the ambiance and our special blend my wife and I ended up meeting the owner Preston, we struck up some good conversation as we walked around the property together. Preston shared his vision for the property with us and treated us like we were part of his family, we talked for hours. Long story short we ended up in Prestons favorite part of the vinyard taking in the sunset while enjoying the atmosphere and one of his favorite bottles of wine. At one point we realized we were the only people on the property as the tasting room had closed. Preston enjoyed our company and conversation so much that he introduced us to some of his family and invited us to dinner in his family home. What started as a $10 tasting turned into a once and a lifetime experiance. Overall best vinyard experiance I have ever had. Thank you Preston Williams and Family for your hospitality and grace, we will find a reason to make the 500+ mile trip back to your vinyard.

We traveled to the vineyard on a bus trip sponsored by Hampton University. Upon arrival we met Jamal, the youngest son of the owners, Clara and Preston. I could tell right away that we were in for an amazing experience. We tasted MULTIPLE delicious wines, each one was better than the last. We were served Barbecue from a food truck. Everything that we ate and drank was top notch. The best part of the day came when Preston, a former pastor and current owner of the vineyard with his wife Clara, shared his family’s story. We were enthralled from beginning to end as he spoke of his hard work, dedication and love for family. It was evident that he adored his family and the legacy that they are building together. Intertwined throughout his message was his love for God and the importance of persevering through tough times to reach the goals that God has set out for you. We were then treated to a tour of the grounds by Preston and Jamal. They answered all questions and made all of us feel as if we were talking to our uncle and cousin. Finally we purchased wine and had a great conversation with Clara. We complimented her on the exceptional hospitality. Their wine tasting and event center bathrooms were clean, and inviting. Thank you for an outstanding day with great wine, food, and fellowship. We will definitely be back! The experience was 10/10!😍πŸ₯°πŸ˜˜
