Restrooms were clean and stocked, the play area was a good place to stretch kid legs, and there was plenty of parking. Downside: Several of the vending machines were out of service, so the working ones didn't have the selection that would have been most helpful for a tired driver. There were some cords taped to the floor which seemed rather unsafe but looked as if they had been there a while. No paper towels as an option, and electric dryers were not sensor activated, creating the need to touch something after washing or leave dripping. Upside: A few distinct photo locations if you are into documenting all your travel stops and state line crossings. Bathroom door access was good, two separate doors each section that pushed in the direction you were headed, allowing hands-free access in and out without...

The Virginia Welcome Center at Bracey is a fantastic stop for travelers looking for a clean, welcoming, and well-equipped rest area. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering maps, brochures, and great recommendations for places to visit in Virginia.

One of the standout features is the playground, which is a perfect spot for kids to stretch their legs and burn off some energy before getting back on the road. The area was clean and well-maintained, making it a stress-free stop for families.

Inside, the facilities were spotless, and the selection of travel information was impressive. Whether you need a quick break, travel assistance, or just a nice spot to relax, this welcome center delivers. A great first impression of Virginia—highly...

5☆ We feel this place was pretty cool.. Everything seem to be laid out pretty good and easily to find. I guess a lot of people stop in for the Va. sign as we did.. We took pictures outside.b We were lucky because there were hardly any people.. Lol.. But I have to say that the layout of it was pretty good with the refreshments, the bathroom, his and hers, vending, and even some history inside with the peanut machine... That was something I didn't expect.. ;-). That, nor the room with all the information about Virginia. In final, the guy working was excellent with us.. He was very informative and told us lots of neat stuff and things to do while we visited VA. We had a very good experience here.......

This is the place to stop when traveling from NC to VA or vice versa. It's always open and a convenient stop. It's always clean, to include the bathrooms. The real jewel is the Welcome Center being co-located. It's the real deal. Plenty of parking, building well laid out, Welcome Center filled with flyers, books on all kinds of things to do. Take a look at some of the valuable pickups I got. Be sure to follow me...I appreciate each of you ❤️ that support me. It's always a great experience driving in the summer days. Enjoy your 4th of July holiday, vacation, time off or just relaxing. I intend to sit and watch time pass.
