My husband was one of two bus drivers for a field trip of Lincoln IL students to the farm yesterday. They arrived about 15-20 minutes early for the 10 am visit. The entrances to the area were not marked clearly to inform the bus drivers where to park and allow the children to get off the bus. One of the teachers asked if the children could get off the bus and play and they were informed the children had to stay on the bus until 10 am. However, the information on your website indicates children can play prior to going on the "tour". The owner who met the buses was very rude. He said the drivers were both speeding at 100 mph (?) Really? The rest of the day didn't improve. The drivers were told they could not enter the premises -- not even to use the restroom or get a cup of coffee. The whole experience was unsettling to both drivers. Fortunately one of the adults on one of the buses was the principal's wife and she witnessed the confrontation from the Rader representative with the bus drivers. What I've heard is that this school will NOT be using Rader Family Farms for any future tours. My husband has been taking children to Rader Family Farms for the last 10 years but has never been treated so rudely as he was yesterday. It's been more than 24 hours since the 'visit' and my husband's blood pressure is still elevated and it is bothering him how he/they were treated at Rader...

Went to the night corn maze 10/15, first time visiting Rader Family Farms. Will never return, awfully planned and executed event. They admit so many people to this that it's not enjoyable to be in the corn maze since it's more of a line shuffling people through, no real chance to get lost and explore on your own. It would be much better if they staggered the amount of groups going in, but no, gotta get as much money as possible even if the experience is bad for guests in return. There should be a cap on how many people they have a night. We saw zero staff in the maze which is really unfortunate considering groups were destroying the corn maze on purpose, dumping trash, stealing corn and bragging about it, using the corn as a restroom, and even throwing corn - one member of my family was almost struck in the head. Where is the staff, where is the security? The allowance of teenagers without an adult guardian also needs to be reconsidered since they were doing most of the damage and ruining the experience. We had such a bad time we only did the first phase of the maze and left. Don't...

They literally CALLED the COUNTY POLICE ON THE BUS DRIVERS! To keep them from going to the bathroom!. .......... Took the kindergartens on a field trip. The owner cussed out bus driver in front of kids for driving 20mph trying to find where to park, saying he was doing 80! With 20 students and 5 adults... no. Then the owner proceeded to tell the bus driver he can't go in. He cant potty. He can't get coffee. And he can't sit on the bus and wait for the kids to be done. He had to go wait at McDonald's!

They literally CALLEDthe COUNTY POLICE ON THE BUS DRIVERS! To keep them from going to the bathroom!

The workers were decent when they are scripted but rude any time they go off script. To adults and children.

I will never bring my kids back by choice.

They have great activities. Just need to do some training on how to work with kids if your going to run a...

We used to go there before covid, then visired today after 3 years. They have expanded the activities, we easily spent 3.5 hrs there and there are many activities we didn't get to try. My friend got the kids goat food for feeding: success! Pumpkin donuts 🎃 🍩 : delicious! Food: reasonable, apple cider slushies: success! Corn maze: exciting, hayride: fun, thug of War, bounce place, and many more. They have advanced to a very high quality Pumpkin 🎃 amusement park, haha! Tickets/food lines are long, they can work on that, all in all a pretty well managed business! Staff were all friendly, loved their uniform shirt colors & design! The only thing: I purchased online (you still need to stay in l8ne but it's shorter) & never got the email, the lady let us in, but this should be fixed, so talk to your IT providers, this is not acceptable!
