This was an incredible find. We had driven over this bridge many times, without an awareness of its unique engineering.

The only way to get an appreciation for the bridge is to see its underside. There is an adjacent roadside park that makes it easy to visit. The stairs to the underside of the bridge are well maintained.

This is a gem, but it requires an awareness of its existence. Thanks to the Manistee County visitor’s guide for...

3rd best bridge in Michigan!! (Behind Cut River Bridge and The Mighty Mac of course!)

Being one of only two bridges of this design in Michigan, it makes for a fantastic stop in the Northern Lower Puninsula. Roadside park with water and restrooms, with a set of stairs to take you down underneath the bridge. A must stop if you have never been, and still a must stop...

This beautiful bridge crosses the Pine River. It is really a piece of historical art that is well preserved. I didn't give it a 5 because the wooden stairs going down to the viewing area is in need of some care. I also wish there was access to the pine river from this location.

A fun little stop to stretch one's legs and take in the beauty of Northern Michigan. Had the feeling of being in the U.P. and time slowed down. Recommend to take the short walk to view the river and underside of the bridge. Driving over you don't realize the beauty.
