You cannot get to this place without trespassing, most of the time the gate letting you onto the property is closed, but once it was open and let me tell you, this place is messed up. For one, the road going up to the lake has abandoned houses with everything left behind scattered on the side of the road, when we passed by a sheet was still hanging from the front porch of a pink house. Secondly, It is labeled as a construction site when you get up there. When we saw that it said no trespassing, we turned around and left. But the thing is, there's no construction site whatsoever, on the map or on the road, and the sign was fairly new and clean. It is absolutely beautiful and I wish the regional water authority would open it up to the public more often (they don’t have to go crazy, what about only Saturdays?)… but for now you can’t get in. Except… I believe they sell Christmas trees at that time of year, but you still aren’t able to go very far onto the property.
