I went on a field trip here today with my daughter's 2nd grade class-it was the worst field trip I have ever been on. Our bus was 15mins late due to our bus driver having an emergency however there was no other school at the farm waiting for us to get done so I don't understand why they had to rush us through the way they did, one of our teacher's ask if we were going to the next station and she said no your bus was late the tour is over, she said come out front and I will show you where to have lunch. The staff was very rude rushing us through like a herd of cattle, the lady kept yelling about 3 times if you parents want to participate in the tour with your class GO PAY when we were waiting in the cashier line-I mean come on. One of the ladies yelled over everyone and said children and adults put a butt in a seat and said I'm not going to talk over you kids or you adults I'm sorry but that's just flat out rude to talk to adults in that manner. We drove 1 1/2 hours to get to this place and we were at the apple farm for a total of an hour and 35 mins of that was us having lunch. Very disappointed this place has lots of potential to be a great field trip but they need to improve attitudes, friendliness and length...
Read moreMy friends and I stopped in on a Monday morning. We walked around the store, chose our bagged apples and other items spending about $65 between the three of us. Once outside at our car, we decided to ask if we could pay the $3 and go into the orchard for a few pictures, since we were from FL and not been to an actual orchard. I even said they could “inspect” us to prove we didn’t take any apples. The lovely lady working the register remembered us and that we had all just purchased items from her. She asked the owner and the owner said in order to go take a photo, we would need to each pay the $3 PLUS purchase a bucket of apples. We HAD purchased apples already. She flat out said no. I understand that there are rules, and I understand why, however, the only thing listed on the little board was $3 for a pass so it was not clear, esp not being from the area and NO cell service to look things up. I just felt that perhaps she could have been nicer about it and not just wanting to get more money from us. We will not stop here again when we are in the area (8...
Read moreWas not expecting to find the best donuts in the world at an apple orchard. This was a very fun experience. They have tons of stuff in their shop different kinds of honey apple butter preserves jellies. They have very good apple cider and even apple cider slushies. The donuts are simply amazing it's a fried cake donut and to get them warm is the best experience They have honey glazed and they are not overpoweringly honey flavored They just taste sweet. And they also have cinnamon sugar The donuts themselves have a very slight apple flavor that is not overpowering either. Could not believe how good they were about a big bag full of apples to come home and make my own apple butter with. We went on a Saturday and it was pretty busy there was not any room for parking on site we kind of had to park down at the church parking lot at the bottom of the hill and there was a line in the shop and at the bakery in the back. The lines moved pretty quickly and it was well worth the wait and we will...
