Cost effective place to hold a party or other event. We rented pavilion #4 for 3.30 hrs and it cost less than $100. Every pavilion comes with a grill and the activities available at the park are numerous. You can find disc golf, tennis courts, horseshoe game areas, walking trails, soccer fields and so on. The representative who helped us schedule our reservation was friendly and informative. Downsides: Port-a-potty locations are few and far between. We had to leave the party and go to the middle of the parking lot (a large one or I wouldn't be complaining) to relieve ourselves. The fields hadn't been treated for fire ants. The unpaved lots make for difficult travels when using a cane or walker. As with anything you have to take the good with the bad. Overall the experience was enjoyable.

This is a pretty great park for walking your dog or just taking a bit of a hike if you prefer your trails to be more natural and less cultivated. There are no signs or sidewalks or anything else. These are trails in the woods. Many split into other trails, a lot deadend at heavy undergrowth. Logs and fallen trees will block your path and you'll find yourself ducking through low branches a lot. Many of the trails can be fairly steep. It's great and a good place to get back to nature. Highly recommended so long as you don't expect curated walkways. You do get the odd bench here and there, though.

Website says first come.come sever for pavilion areas. We found one with an not updated schedule to let us know if it was reserved so we started using it. About 30 min later, another party shown up saying they have paid for the time slot. They were nice enough to share, thankfully since other areas were taken. The number for the area also didn't match the schedule in the box. Other then this, the people and area is nice. Very shaded for nice log walks and play for children.

Have been going to this local park for over 30 years. Played softball here as a young 20 something and am 52 1/2 now and was just there yesterday with my 10 yr old and one of our pups. Both children have played baseball, soccer, flag football rec sports here. Love running and walking the paved "tracks" around the park and walking the wooded trails. They also have disc golf and we've played that here as well. Nice clean playground equipment for toddlers and a larger one for 5-12 yr olds always kept my kids busy. Over the years they've improved the tennis courts, picnicking areas, and added more paved walking trails, and finally added port a potties in addition to the main permanent restroom facilities that are in the center of the park where the baseball & softball fields are. It's our go to park in Cumberland County for any activity you'd want to do. We've also biked, in line skated, and played frisbee here. All around...

My family and I often visit this park for baseball and softball games. I fell that our main concern is the parks desire for our money not the condition of the park. The bathrooms are astronomically hot, it was 94 degrees outside why don't the bathrooms have air condition in them? More bathrooms should be built strategically around the park such as the main parkimg lot, going inside two port-a-jons when it is 100 degrees is simply crazy, it smells awful and again looking at someone's waste before you sit down to use the bathroom is uncalled for. Also I believe that the roads should be 2 way, we have to drive a country mile to get the mail parking lot when you could simply take a left at the main entrance and turn right into the lot. The is set up in a perfect location but money to make the park more accommodating...
