Buddle Creek Swim Area — Attraction in North Carolina

Love this place swimming fishing and boat launch. Wear flip flops or shoes have to walk across rocks to get to swim area. The water is great but it will stain anything light color reddish because of the red dirt in this area. 8 don't mind pets but I don't think they should allow them because most owners I've seen don't clean up after their pet goes to the bathroom nothihg messes up a cookout like stepping in dog poop. To keep it clean they should ban all animals unless for medical needs. Sorry to responsibile owners the few bad apples do...

Nice but on weekends they let the trash with bugs flies ect that's near the picnic tables overflow. They should change this twice a weekend. The toilets were overflowed and full no toilet paper. They aren't sprayed . Not what I intended to see after the reviews and we visited on a Sunday evening. Other than that it was relaxing. Mancame around digging in trash while we were there getting cans. Like they couldn't do this at a different time but do it while we are grilling. It just made the swarm of bees and flies...

Y'all shouldn't be auto deleting one star reviews. This is a public park. We can leave a respectful one star. This used to be a site where Duracell dumped mercury. A few locals told me. Also. Leeches. Dead fish. Birds that are deformed. Thousands of dead snails. I witnessed the last one. Had to run after my little girl yelling, noooooo salmonella ! Salmonella! And running away with her in tow. I saw some creepy activity. Don't come alone. Nobody would believe me if I posted it because...
