Great area! I have hit every side of the trails. Rope swings, and lots of little swimming holes and private beaches to roo down in. A great place to take the kids and dogs for some fun river time. Only downside (and this is with every river or trail) there can be some inconsiderate non eco friendly people who will leave trash and fishing bait tubs everywhere. Nothing dangerous. Read moreGreat park to go walking especially in the fall when the leaves are turning. There is plenty of free parking. You can loop around the ponds which is a wide flat dirt path. Very dog friendly. Usually there are people fishing along the pond as well. You can also cut into the woods and there is an inner path that goes through the woods. That path is much skinnier but still flat. But you have to watch your step a bit more with large rocks and tree roots...
