Talk about a hidden gem in Reidsville! This trail was absolutely beautiful. Over a mile and a half walk that completes the trail. We stumbled across some birds and cows. Everything appeared well maintained and clean which was lovely. There are benches throughout the pathway where you may enjoy some sightseeing. Do stay hydrated during the hotter days, there are no shortcuts back to the parking lot. It is one way in and one way out that loops for roughly 1.6 miles. Overall a great experience.

This is a very pretty walking trail. I enjoy coming here when I'm in the area visiting family. The woods are beautiful and I love the bamboo. We even saw a family of deer walking through the cow pasture. Great place to feel in touch with nature and there are benches throughout the trail. It's dog friendly and there's a restroom.

My family and I enjoy going on a quiet walk there. A lot of history is on the trail. The history and the outdoors reveal their self on this well maintained walking trail with a pond, a generator/pump house, a man made dam and covered picnic tables. Nice to visit. It is also neat to see the cows along the trail grazing.

The trailhead has parking for maybe 25 cars, some educational signage, trash/recycling containers, and a bathroom. This is a 1.6 mile loop with .25 mile markers throughout. It is mostly flat laterally but does have some elevation change. So it is a moderate trail. The entire trail is gravel, wide and well maintained, with a few boardwalks throughout. Some parts are open (no shade) in cow pastures and other parts are shaded. Would guess 50/50 on shade/no shade. Some creek type scenery.

The highlights on this trail are Little Niagara, the gazebo, pump station, bridge, and long winding boardwalks. The platform below the bridge is also a nice added touch. There are a plethora of pictures/videos uploaded on these. The cow pasture sections do have some cows and it looks like you can pump water to put into troughs for them. I didn't do this however. The cows I saw stayed in the shade.

This is a great trail for families with the aforementioned things to look at and walk through. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would...

I've been walking here for 15 years and it never gets old. Around each bend is a new and unique view! It's peaceful and relaxing yet offers some hills to get your heart rate going. It's stroller and wagon friendly for those with children. My son started in a wagon when the trail was rougher and graduated to pulling it himself while stopping to fill it with leaves and acorns. When he was older, I took him and a friend for a nature hike. They gathered all kinds of items to take to the library for identification! We have also enjoyed walking our dogs here. It's an all-weather trail for all ages to...

Well maintained walking trail with sections of boardwalk. Roughly 1.7mi trail loop is easy to walk and offers a diverse view of nature and animals. From turtles, fish and water fowl to the cows grazing in the rolling fields. We walked the loop with our 3 children with minimal issues, our 2-yo needed to be carried for sections due to periodic lack of tree cover causing extreme heat while in the fields.
